People can leave homelessness behind with the right help. For some, that means Housing First services that provide a secure home and tailored support. Housing First is an innovative approach that is proven to help people out of homelessness. But right now, there aren't enough Housing First programmes in England to help people who need this support.
We urgently need the government to provide funding for specialist support to help people into safe, secure homes. This will also help achieve the Government's goal of ending rough sleeping by 2024.

Right now, to best achieve the Government's goal of ending rough sleeping by 2024, we are campaigning for a renewed rough sleeping strategy that includes bespoke solutions such as:
We are also campaigning for repeal of the 1824 Vagrancy Act.
With these solutions, the Government is more likely to meet its manifesto commitment to end rough sleeping in England by 2024.
