A huge thank you to the Wimbledon Foundation for gifting four centre court tickets to members (people experiencing homelessness) and staff from our London-wide Housing First team. Highlights of the day included strawberries and cream and soaking up the frenetic atmosphere. Housing First coach Christina said 'it was an incredible experience and both members will remember that for the rest of their lives’.
Crisis Chief Executive Matt Downie was also able to enjoy the event from the royal box thanks to an invitation from the Chairman of the Wimbledon Foundation.
About our partnership
The Wimbledon Foundation have supported our rapid rehousing services in London since 2020. The Foundation funds the salaries of members of our pan-London Housing First and Housing procurement teams, who work closely together throughout the year to develop strong relationships with landlords and support some of the most vulnerable people to access safe and stable accommodation.
