#SupporterStars - The 2.6 Challenge Edition

We want to give a huge thanks to everybody who took on the 2.6 Challenge in support of Crisis.

You have collectively raised an incredible £20,586.51!

These funds will help support our "In This Together campaign" which is bringing vital services and supplies to the vulnerable people hit hardest during the outbreak.

You all rose up to the challenge! Whether you did 26 miles or 26 sit ups, each and everyone of you has made a huge difference. Our team has been so inspired by your efforts and the many creative ways the 2.6 challenge was faced, we wanted to share some of the highlights!

A massive well done to the young jedi Henry, an avid Star Wars fan who ran 2.6 miles everyday for 10 days straight, raising an unbelievable £8,040. Henry's story ended up reaching Sky News! The force is strong with the one!

Stephen Pargiter also ran a full marathon in a few days, trying out new routes each time, a lovely way to rediscover your local area!

Sisters Florrie and Nell took on a combo of challenges raising an amazing £1,276, including 26km over 5 days, 26 laps around a garden obstacle course and to finish off, 26 goals each in a netball hoop! We are out of breath just thinking about all that exercise! Well done you two!

Heather and Ruth came up with the 2.6 A-Z challenge, taking on 26 different activities for each letter in the alphabet! From Aerobics to Zumba, such a great idea!

The talented Satyajit Bhattacharya penned 26 pages of limericks and rhymes that went down so well with readers, he raised an incredible £9,104, an amazing achievement surpassing all his expectations.

Raymond and Christine Lowrie committed themselves to exercise for 26 minutes, 26 times a week!

And finally, Anna and Ruda (pictured above) who took on Ben Nevis 4 years ago, took to the stairways of their high rise flat to climb up and down 1000 times a day over 3 days!

Watch the amazing footage of their exhausting challenge!

Thanks again to all of you who took part. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to continue supporting people experiencing homelessness during the pandemic.

THANK YOU! :-)
