We love seeing our supporters getting creative with their fundraising, and the group behind this 'Crafts and Laughs' event did exactly that.
Crisis supporter Margaret did an incredible job of bringing people together to learn more about knitting and crochet, make new connections and find shared hobbies, all while raising money to end homelessness.
There was some great feedback from attendees:
'I thoroughly enjoyed the craft day, as this is something l have not done in over 40 years. It is a good way of networking with like-minded individuals.'
'I was instructed how to crochet by a wonderful woman she helped me to make sense of the jargon that keep me from understanding seeing my work coming to look like it should.'
We think this is such a great example of how fundraising can bring people together and help them to discover new hobbies, all while raising vital funds to end homelessness.
